Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max 2015 FACELIFT revealed

Ford has been busy grafting their new grill on to cars across their range recently, and the latest models to get the ‘Gaydon Grill’ (and other tweaks) are the C-Max and Grand C-Max – Ford’s 5 and 7 seat MPVs based on the Focus – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. As you’e expect, the changes amount to pretty much what we’ve seen with the Ford Focus facelift, so there’s a new grill to make the Ford statement accompanied by new headlights and bonnet.

Round the back the tailgate has been given a slicker, simplified makeover, there’s a new bumper and smaller lights. But that’s the C-Max; the Grand C-Max looks pretty much the same as before from the back.

Inside, the same titivations as the Focus bring fewer switches and the new 8″ Infotainment screen with Ford’s SYNC2 and there’s a move up in quality for the fixtures and fittings.

Under the bonnet it’s Focus time too, with a new 1.5 litre TDCi with 94bhp or 118bhp and a 1.5 litre EcoBoost with 148bhp or 177bhp. The 1.0 litre 3-cylinder EcoBoost withy 99bhp or 123bhp remains.

The facelifted Ford C-Max and Grand C-Max will debut next month at the Paris Motor Show and arrive in Ford’s UK showrooms in summer 2015. Price for the new C-Max and Grand C-Max are expected to remain much the same as the current model, which starts at £17,655.
