Ford reveals four Focus ST concepts for SEMA

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

Ford revealed customized versions of the Focus ST on Monday for the upcoming SEMA show in November. The four new hatches add to the company's Dreamcase, a website that shows off what Ford will offer at the aftermarket show.

The Focus ST by PM Lifestyle gets a Banks Power straight-shot water methanol injection system along with 19-inch wheels from Rotiform, GT Radial Champiro tires, Sparco seats and Schroth Racing five-point harness.

PM worked with Infinite Auto Design on the Focus, installing a custom harness bar, carbon fiber exterior pieces and a custom paint job from Axalta. The chassis gets new coilovers, sway bars and brake system from Wilwood.

The Green Filter USA Focus ST uses vintage Team Lotus colors as a tribute to Ford's involvement in motorsports, including the Lotus-Ford that won the 1965 Indy 500. Apart from appearance upgrades, this ST gets a high-performance air filter with a custom intake and exhaust. The suspension was built by Ground Force to provide “Lotus-like handling characteristics.” We'll believe it when we see it, or drive it. Falken tires cover 18-inch American Racing wheels.

The next concept Focus takes on a crime fighting role as a partner with DRAGG, Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti. This ST gets a light bar and a custom interior rifle rack. The DRAGG Focus comes with a Borla-designed cat-back exhaust, 4.5-inch polished stainless-steel exhaust tips and Motegi racing wheels. Eibach does the springs and Wilwood does the brakes.

The final Focus is slathered in Gulf Oil livery from Axalta with fender flares from DTM Autobody. KW does the suspension while Baer takes care of the brakes. The Gulf Racing Focus gets dual-side exhausts exiting from an intercooler kit by Vortech. Again Falken tires hide 19-inch Forgestar wheels.

These four concepts will join 53 other modded Fords at the show. Stay tuned, we'll have more coming soon.
