Have your Shelby Mustang GT350 or GT500 Super Snake shipped for free

Shelby American is adding a little incentive to pick up one of its one-off Ford Mustang creations: Buyers won’t have to pay shipping on the 2012 Shelby GT350 and the 2007-12 Shelby GT500 Super Snake--as long as they order by July 31. Depending on where a buyer lives, that could be a savings of up to $1,500.

For the uninitiated, Shelby American revamps almost everything mechanical on the Ford Mustang to create the GT350, including front and rear suspension, brakes and intake and exhaust systems. The company adds a host of exterior upgrades, including 19-inch wheels, unique GT350 badges, new taillights, logos and more.

Inside, each GT350 gets a serialized plaque, pillar-mounted gauges, embroidered floor mats and Shelby stitching in the seats. A premium sound system from Shelby and Kicker is optional, as are leather seats with contrasting stitching and a new emergency brake and shifter boots.

The package without the Shelby/Ford Racing/Whipple supercharger costs $26,995, while the 525-hp option comes in at $33,995.

The classic Shelby top and side stripes are included standard.

The GT500 Super Snake gets a $34,500 makeover including carbon-fiber parts, unique trim and most of the performance options found on the GT350. The Snake delivers 750 hp with an upgraded Shelby/Kenne Bell supercharger.
