Hyundai JPE Genesis Coupe looks like BRZ fighter

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Hyundai’s next SEMA trick is a joint effort with tuner John Pangilinan. The pair has linked up again for the JP Edition Genesis Coupe in Atlantis blue. The JP Edition will be on display in Las Vegas Nov. 5-8 along with the Legato Concept, EGR Yellowcake and Bisimoto Genesis Coupe.

Pangilinan adds an AEM cold-air intake, ARK Performance exhaust, turbo downpipe and Lucas Oil products. To keep the rubber on the pavement, Pangilinan installed KW Variant 3 coilovers, Whiteline sway bars and an ARK strut bar. The wheels are from MORR and the tires are Toyo. The brakes are from Brembo. Total system output was not available.

Staggered fender flares from TS Designs widen the coupe in back, while the metallic paint was applied by Auto Explosion. S&A Design covered the graphics, APR did the carbon-fiber splitter and Seibon provided the side and rear lip kits. Custom LEDs come from The Retrofit House.

Inside, the JP coupe has Recaro seats with Takata Drift III harnesses coupled to a harness bar complete with a GoPro Hero 3 camera. A selection of ridiculous electronics is installed, courtesy of Alpine and Scosche, built by BP Auto Sound.
