A sketch of what claims to be the 2013 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d has appeared on Kia World. IS this the 3-door version of the new cee’d?

The 2012 Kia cee’d was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show last month, a longer, wider and lower version of the current Top Gear SIARPC and going on sale in the UK in June.

So it’s not a huge surprise that the three door version of the cee’d – the 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d – has appeared as a teaser sketch today, although the fact it’s turned up on the Kia World site does make us question whether this is for real or just a bit of a mash-up.

Still, assuming the news is right, the new Kia Pro_cee’d carries over much of what we’ve already seen in the 5-door cee’d but with a more coupe profile and looks to be sitting lower on a sportier suspension setup.

Engines are said to be the same as on the 5-door cee’d, but with a new entry-level 1.2 litre 120bhp turbo petrol and the 183bhp 1.6 litre turbo from the Veloster said to be finding its way in to the sporty 3-door Kia pro_cee’d.

Said to be debuting at the Paris Motor Sow in September, the 2013 pro_cee’d will be on sale by the end of 2012.
