Lexus, puppets unveil LF-NX concept at Frankfurt motor show

Ten years ago, a Danish face-paint enthusiast by the name of King Diamond released a concept album set in 18th-century Budapest (that's in Hungary). An evil puppetmaster turned human beings into puppets. King explains it here. It's both unintentionally hilarious and oddly freaky. That, coupled with "Being John Malkovich," Spike Jonze's masterpiece of puppet-oriented weirdness, leaves your author a wee bit jibblied whenever puppeteers are about.

To showcase their new LF-NX Concept, Paul Van der Burgh, director of Lexus Europe, invited out a pair of larger-than life puppets controlled by groups of people, as well as a couple of blokes on the sidelines with radio-control airplane transmitters.
