The new Citroen C1 (pictured) costs from £8,245

The new Citroen C1 City Car debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last week as Citroen’s take on the Peugeot/Citroen/Toyota City Car and will go on sale in the UK in July with prices starting at £8,245. There is a choice of three trim levels - Touch, Feel & Flair – but if you want the convertible Airscape model you’ll have to have either the Feel or Flair spec.

The C1 Touch (from £8,245) comes with remote central locking, electric front windows, MP3 audio, LED running lights, power steering and the usual ABS, EBA and ESP.

Move up to the C1 Feel (from £9,495) and you get AirCon, DAB, 7″ Toiuch Drive with mirror screen and body coloured mirrors and door handles with the range topping C1 Flair (from £10,185) getting 15″ alloys, speed limiter, rev counter, reversing camera, electric heated door mirrors, privacy glass and leather steering wheel.

Engine options are a pair of petrols, either a VTi 68 with 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual or as an e-VTi 68 Airdream with stop-start. You can also have the Pure Tech VTi 82.

The new Citroen C1 order book opens in the UK in July.
