Redesigned Chevrolet Silverado spied in deep-water testing

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

The Chevrolet Silverado is one of the best-selling trucks in the United States and has been for some time. A refresh is due for the 2014 model, and through our super-secret backdoor channels, we've received this certified spy shot of the pickup testing through deep water.

We don't know much. But we expect that the truck will sport aluminum control arms for the front suspension. The powertrains will put an emphasis on improving fuel economy while keeping power output at gutsy levels. A plethora of trim lines will continue, as well as the option of a heavy-duty chassis.

It sure looks like those are projector-style headlights under the camouflage. We'll bring you more details as soon as we have them.
