Top Gear U.S. Supercar Road Trip Take 2

Top Gear is filming another U.S. road trip for the next series with a Lexus LFA, the new SRT Viper and the new Aston Martin Vanquish.

Just over two years ago, Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May were in the U.S. filming a Top Gear supercar road trip with the Mercedes SLS, Ferrari 458 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which aired in December 2010.

But this year we have to wait until February 2013 for the next series of Top Gear to start, but it looks like we’ll be getting another U.S. road trip from TG, this time with the new (Dodge) Viper SRT, the new Aston Martin Vanquish and the Lexus LFA.

The boys have been spotted in a car park in Las Vegas with their trio of supercars as they set out on a road trip that could be the longest ever filmed – rumour has it that they’re planning a 3,000 mile joint all round the U.S. – and possibly further afield too.

Jeremy Tweeted last week that he’ll be in Mexico soon, so the boys could be taking their supercars south of the border to the land of the “…lazy, feckless, flatulent, oafs with a moustaches and food like fried sick.”. Which could possibly provide more entertainment than the trip around the U.S. itself.

We’re assuming the new Top Gear U.S Supercar outing will be one of the highlights of Series 19, but if you know more – or the boys have passed through your town (aimed at our US readers, of course) – let us know.
