VW Super Bowl ad teaser promotes insanity

Volkswagen released this delightful teaser to their upcoming Super Bowl commercial Thursday, opening with a series of people breaking down, freaking out and losing their . . . sanity. As Jimmy Cliff's cheerful “C'mon, get happy” tune plays on, the mood of the ad shifts and suddenly all of the tantrum-throwers unite, frolicking over a hill, through a meadow, smiling and singing in the bright sunshine.

Perhaps this is a message to all Super Bowl fans that, no matter which team wins on Feb. 3, 2013, there's no need for sore losers, nor does anyone need to waste time being angry. Kumbaya.

We'll have to wait for the official VW Super Bowl ad to know for sure.
