World's oldest Bentley and Steve McQueen motorcycle for auction at Pebble Beach

The world's oldest Bentley and a Brough Superior motorcycle once owned by Steve McQueen are joining the Gooding & Co. lineup at Pebble Beach this August.

The 1921 Chassis 3 was the first customer car to leave the Bentley factory. It has since participated in vintage Bentley rallies and is perfectly useable to this day--with the original aluminum body and fully disappearing top.

The 1931 Brough Superior SS80 shared by Steve McQueen and Von Dutch.

It will share the spotlight with the 1931 Brough Superior SS80, a once-prized possession shared between Steve McQueen and his close friend, Von Dutch. They agreed that whoever passed away first would bequeath the bike to the other. It will be sold without reserve at Pebble Beach and is estimated to go for $100,000 to $200,000. A letter of authenticity from Steve's son, Chad McQueen, comes with the purchase.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 20-21 at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. On-site admission is $40.
