LRX concept made its UK debut at the London motor show. Let's hope it doesn't get watered down too much... By Tim Pollard and CAR reader reporter SandyT Motor Shows 24 July 2008 10:59 Land Rover put in its first full motor show appearance since the takeover by Tata – and made a rash of environmental announcements to appease the anti-SUV sentiment that lurks in certain strata of society in London.

Peugeot Quartz

In addition to a Europe-specific version of the Exalt concept, Peugeot will reveal a new show car in Paris. Called the Quartz, it follows themes established by the Onyx, shown in Paris two years ago, and the Exalt, which debuted in Beijing earlier this year. At 4,500mm long and 2,060mm wide, the Quartz is the smallest of the three, and, more obviously, switches coupé for crossover aesthetics.

Kia Red Rock Special Edition Soul joins lineup

Kia has added another Soul special edition to its lineup, inspired by the rock formations in the southwest United States. It gets a unique exterior color called canyon, while the interior gets its own styling as well. The Red Rock Special Edition was introduced at the 2011 New York auto show, and then toured the United States to gauge customer demand.
