I combine shipping when practical. If you purchase multiple books, and your location is within the US, your shipping cost will be calculated at the rate for the heaviest book plus .50 for each additional book - for example: You purchase 4 books, 2 with shipping costs of $3.99 and 2 with shipping costs of $2.99. I'll take one book at $3.99 and charge .50 for each additional book, making your total for this example $5.49 instead of $13.96 if charged separately. Since I am not smart enough to figure out how to program all this within the confines of eBay, just let me know that you need combined shipping and I will follow this rule when I send your invoice. Bugatti is readying the new Royale to celebrate the company’s centenary this autumn, where it will be shown to prospective customers on the eve of the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. We’ll be the first to admit that the original teaser photo, scanned from a VIP invite by an eagle-eyed CAR reader, doesn’t reveal too much of the new Bugatti Royale – but today a second image popped up on Pistonheads which we've reproduced here, revealing more of the Rapide.

New design chiefs for Peugeot and Citroen

PSA Peugeot Citroen is under new design leadership this week. As of 4 January 2010, Gilles Vidal has taken over as design director for Peugeot and Thierry Metroz is the new pencil wielder-in-chief at Citroen. Both will report to Jean-Pierre Ploué, who remains design director for the PSA group.

Police to target uninsured drivers by crushing their cars

The Metropolitan Police operation to cut down on uninsured drivers by crushing their vehicles could be rolled out nationwide, claims Auto Express. Operation Cubo has seized more than 14,000 vehicles in London since it was introduced in October 2011. The campaign sets up sites targeting specific areas, using automatic number plate recognition systems to identify cars being driven without insurance.
