Hyundai Veloster Turbo arrives at Detroit

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

Hyundai Veloster Turbo - US spec arrives at Detroit The Hyundai Veloster Turbo has debuted at the Detroit Auto Show with more aggressive looks and 201hp from its 1.6 litre Turbo. The Hyundai Veloster Turbo that’s now arrived at the Detroit Auto Show – after a small leak of Veloster Turbo pictures this morning – may not be exactly the same as the Veloster Turbo we’ll get in the UK (more on that in a moment), but it’s close enough to give us a good idea of what the Turbo will add to the Veloster equation. Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept revealed ahead of Detroit If you’re pumping big bucks in to F1 – as Infiniti are with Red Bull – then you want to make sure you get a return in the form of road car sales. Teased with a front view last month, the Q50 Eau Rouge gets a complete body makeover – inspired, of course, by Infiniti’s F1 Aerodynamics with Red Bull – which makes the Q50 both lower and wider than the standard model and gets a carbon fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and side skirts.

Maserati Grand Turismo S Auto – details ahead of Geneva

Mon, 23 Feb 2009

Maserati Grand Turismo S – now gets the ZF 6-speed auto ‘box And in many ways this is a much better bet than a Ferrari. Much the same kudos, but a much lower price. And be in no doubt; people feel the same about Maseratis as they do about Ferraris, so you’ll get all the glory for driving a fantastic Italian machine, and you won’t be marked down as the driver of a flash, common-or-garden Ferrari!
