This tool as specified in BMW Shop manuals is used for removing, inspecting and replacing your dry clutch.  It is also used for inspecting and maintaining and lubricating your input/output splines.

There are some websites selling this tool, the cheapest I have found is $40!  Check out our “other items” for BMW recommended lubricants involved with these procedures OPTIMOL PASTE PL  and STABURAGS NBU 30 PTM.  (WE WILL COMBINE SHIPPING IF PURCHASED TOGETHER!)

Dealerships are charging more and more to service the classics, with new techs being less familiar with these models!  Learning our bikes saves us money and gives us confidence in the mechanical reliability that make BMW’s legendary.

·       Excellent addition to your shop

·       Borrow it to your fellow club riders

·       50% less than dealer cost

·       Shows up in your mailbox in 2 days (no visit to the dealership where they make things “complicated” so they can do the service and charge you.)

Get a manual servicing these bikes is simple and provides excellent “tinkering” in the winter months!

Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept (2010) first pictures

Mon, 16 Aug 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 August 2010 09:28 Jaguar showed off a bespoke XJ at this weekend's Pebble Beach concours d'elegance. The XJ75 Platinum Concept is the latest in a string of 75th anniversary show cars and is designed to demonstrate 'the design customisation potential' of the latest XJ - hinting at further derivatives to follow. What, you mean a new Jaguar XJR?Well, that's one interpretation. The XJ75 Platinum is based on the 464bhp 5.0-litre V8 XJL Supercharged (a US market trim with fewer horses than the full-fat UK 503bhp edition Supercharged) but adds lower front, rear and side trim panels and 22in wheels.

Nissan at the London motor show 2008

Tue, 22 Jul 2008

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 22 July 2008 14:12 Nissan pulled off a cornucopia of intriguing new models at the London show – with some pretty weird extremes, as practical family cars jostled for attention with supercars and tallboy square city cars. What's new on Nissan's London motor show stand? Proudly displaying its patriotism, Nissan pulled the covers of its Sunderland-built Qashqai+2 – one of the few real global debuts at the show.

Scrappage: US to get Cash for Clunkers

Wed, 10 Jun 2009

The US is to get their own Scrappage Scheme - Cash for Clunkers So even though our Scrappage Scheme is pretty flawed, it may well be having an impact – at least until the relatively modest amount set-aside for the scheme by the Government is exhausted. And now it’s the turn of the US to launch a Scrappage Schem – Cash for Clunkers. Cash for Clunkers legislation was passed yesterday in the US to try and kick-start US car sales, and give a boost to beleaguered car makers like GM and Chrysler.
