The 59th Annual Autorama has taken over Cobo Center in downtown Detroit with hundreds of hot rods, customs classics cars and motorcycles in what has been billed as America's greatest hot rod show. Judges have selected eight vehicles--dubbed the Great 8--as finalists for the coveted Ridler Award that will be presented Sunday evening at the show's conclusion. KIMI RAIKKONEN has revealed he will likely quit Formula One again once his current deal with Ferrari expires at the end of 2015. Raikkonen dropped the bombshell at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, and just eight races into his second coming at Ferrari which has so far been a bitter disappointment. Dealers' clunkers filing deadline extended

The Transportation Department has extended the cash-for-clunkers filing deadline again, to 8 p.m. EDT tonight after reporting that its computer system for dealers "has been fully operational overnight." In an e-mail to the National Automobile Dealers Association that was confirmed by Transportation spokeswoman Jill Zuckman, the Obama administration said, "The system will be closed to new submissions" after 8 p.m. It was the second deadline extension since last Thursday because of Transportation's computer outages.
