David Brown Automotive Speedback UK debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed (video)

The David Brown Automotive Speedback (above) gets its UK debut at the Goodwood FoS The reveal of the David Brown Automotive Speedback was a pleasant surprise. We’d expected the Speedback to be yet another take on the E-Type – based as it is on the underpinnings of the still very able Jaguar XKR – but instead it was a proper classic GT car that looks much like a classic Aston Martin from the 1960s – think DB5/DB6. Glorious though a DB5 or DB6 is to own, a lot of the time they’re more a work of art to covet than a car you can drive every day.

Charles Morgan leaves Morgan

Charles Morgan is no longer a part of the Morgan Motor Company’s management team or board of directors, a press release from the Morgan Technologies arm of the British sports car maker has confirmed. As things now stand, this essentially means that after 103 years, the family that started the firm is no longer involved in running the company. Aston Martin V12 Zagato: First production car photos

Ahead of a debut in Kuwait in two weeks, we have the first official photos – interior and exterior – of the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato.  So far we’ve had just one outside picture of the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, and we know that it will make its production debut at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance on 15th February. But now we’ve got more pictures. Aston Martin has quietly published a PDF on the V12 Zagato (link to Aston Martin V12 Zagato PDF) which gives us some of the history behind the development of the V12 Zagato, tells us how it’s made (with craftsmen and hammers) and, for the first time, gives us a look at bothy the inside and outside of the new Zagato.
