Top quality tinted touring windscreen in near-mint condition, scratch-free, for BMW R1200R.  Came off an '09 R1200R (shown in photos); should fit other 2007 & later R1200R's.  Approx. 18" tall, 15" wide at base, 10.5-11" wide at very top:  tall enough to deflect the wind over your helmet, yet not a "barn door" and short enough to see over.  Nice beveled edges, curved bottom fits over R1200R headlight perfectly.  Comes complete with mounting hardware, bolts and washers, ready to install.  Mounting holes have rubber grommets to prevent cracking.  The comparable BMW factory unit is about 4" shorter (and reportedly unsatisfactory for that reason), yet costs over $325 plus another $65+ for the mounting hardware.  The ZTechnik model also costs $325 and does not harmonize nearly as well with the lines of the bike (some think it's really ugly). Grab this beautiful and highly functional piece at a bargain price while it lasts!  Buyer is responsible for determining the compatibility of this windshield with his or her motorcycle.

De Tomaso plans to unveil new Pantera

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Following the unveiling of its new Pininfarina-designed Deauville at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, De Tomaso is planning to unveil a new Pantera at September's Frankfurt motor show. The new Pantera, arguably De Tomaso's best-known sports car, will maintain its traditional American Corvette V8 engine, producing over 600 horsepower. De Tomaso is hoping that sales of the Deauville crossover will contribute towards the development of a new 'primal concrete sledge'.

We have video of the Rolls Royce Ghost Coupe at the Nurburgring. Could this Ghost Coupe arrive as the new Rolls Royce Corniche? There was never any doubt that Rolls Royce would take the same route with the Ghost as they have with the Phantom by extending its appeal with a convertible and coupe option.
