New Mercedes S 63 AMG costs from £119,565

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

New Mercedes S 63 AMG (pictured) costs from £119,565 The arrival of the new Mercedes S-Class in May saw MB move their range topper on properly for the first time in almost a decade, but with UK prices staring from £62,650 for the S 350 BlueTEC it wasn’t going to be on most people’s shopping list. And if you can’t afford Mercedes’ entry-level S-Class there’s no hope of affording the new S63 AMG, which Mercedes has revealed will cost an eye-watering £120k when it arrives in the UK in November. To be entirely fair, the new S63 is an awesome car with immense performance (which would be even more impressive if Mercedes endowed it with 4WD, as they do in other markets) with its 5.5 litre bi-turbo V8 developing 577bhp and getting the S63 to 62mph in 4.4 seconds.

New 2015 Volvo XC90 Interior fully revealed

Tue, 27 May 2014

The interior of the new Volvo XC90 fully revealed The Volvo XC90 is well past its sell-by date, but it’s still a credible cross between an SUV and a family mover. But the all new 2015 XC90 is getting close and today Volvo has decided to reveal their new range-topper from the inside out with a full reveal of the XC90′s interior. With the current XC90′s interior architecture more than a decade old, it’s a good place to start; Volvo has created an interior for the new model that’s a world away from the current model.

Saab sale to NEVS delayed

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The sale of what’s left of Saab to National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) has been delayed over funding and rights to the Saab name. We all thought, finally, that the end of the Saab saga had come when National Electric Vehicle Sweden was successful in gaining approval from the Saab administrators to acquire what was left of Saab after GM and Spyker failed to agree the sale of Saab as a going concern. The sad fact is that NEVS aren’t planning to carry on the proud tradition of Saab, with its innovative and quirky cars so loved by design professionals, but plan to put the Saab badge on a range of new electric cars.
