PayPal claims to be working on expanding the network, however as it stands now, a PayPal-member in the Eastern Caribbean,-including my Island Sint Maarten- can only MAKE payments\Send money but NOT receive payments. Therefore, instead of Selling on my own E-Bay account-(but not being able to receive payments on my PayPal-account),I have opted to sell via the E-Bay account of my father whom lives in Belgium and has a Verified PayPal-account. This is not a fraudulent proposal but merely a way of working-around the limitation imposed by PayPal. No "fishiness" involved because not in a million years would I want to jeopardize my E-Bay-membership or that of my father. ECOVELOCITY PROVES TO BE A HIT
Thu, 10 Oct 2013ECOVELOCITY, the UK’s first eco motoring festival held at Battersea Power Station last week, delivered the UK’s largest ever eco test drive event, with almost 7,000 consumer drives of electric, low and ultra low carbon vehicles on the bespoke test track. Visitors and their families fully embraced the ‘hands on’ opportunities the show offered. Over 1,500 visitors participated in the Honda Racing Bug Activity, while Get On - the campaign to encourage more people to ride motorcycles - introduced 350 visitors to the benefits of riding and took numerous bookings for the future.
MPs call for parking charge reports
Wed, 23 Oct 2013COUNCILS should publish annual parking-charge reports to show where revenue comes from and where it is being used, MPs said today. The use of parking charges and fines specifically to raise revenue was "neither acceptable nor legal" said Louise Ellman, chairman of the House of Commons Transport Committee. Launching a report by her committee into local authority parking enforcement in England, Mrs Ellman said: "There is a deep-rooted public perception that parking enforcement is used as a cash cow, so it's essential that local authorities apply stringent transparency." The committee said local authorities in England had a collective parking surplus in the hundreds of millions of pounds, but that the exact amount was subject to debate.

The hardtop convertible concept car is said to embody the new world of Peugeot, reflected by the new Lion badge which adorns its sculpted hood. Designed to explore and reinterpret the 'Grand Touring car' theme, with a long, sculpted hood, flowing body panels made of carbon and a very low center of gravity, the aesthetic traits of the SR1 are claimed to renew Peugeot's strong stylistic identity and create a new design language.
