Up for sale is my used Kinugawa bolt-on 25G with anti-surge housing. It has a DSM 7CM exhaust housing machined for the TD06SL2 turbine wheel factory from Kinugawa. The turbo will bolt onto any 89-99 4G63 turbo Mitsubishi Eclipse, Talon, or Laser (TSI, GST, GSX). The -4AN oil restrictor is installed and is the one recommended by Kinugawa. The restrictor has always been used and the oil has always been fed from my oil filter housing (filtered oil). The turbo has about 7K miles on it and has minima/normal side-side shaft play (dry) and no in/out shaft play at all. This unit has many thousands of miles in service life left. Please see the Kinugawa ad's for the exact specifications.

Included is everything you see in the pictures (and the restrictor fitting installed/hard to make out in the pics). I has this on my 95 GSX with a stock location intercooler hence the custom "S" pipe (included). Also, I modified an ETS coupler to fit the "S" pipe and connect to the down-firing outlet. A 1G style oil drain line is included. Just bolt on your wastegate actuator, O2 housing, and water line (one is included and mounted), and -4 feed line. This is an excellent turbo and sells for about 900 bucks new.

Please take a look at the dyno graph and decide if this turbo is right for you. This is my personal car that was logged.

Where is Nissan and Infiniti design headed? Just look at the lamps

Mon, 26 Apr 2010

For a glimpse at future styling trends from Nissan Motor Co., look to the headlamps on the Nissan Leaf electric car and the sculpted rear of the Infiniti M. Front and rear lamps raised from the body surface and pronounced spoilers are two tricks Nissan will use more often to improve the aerodynamics and handling of vehicles--in addition to giving them a futuristic flair, global design chief Shiro Nakamura says. The goal: Win young drivers and bring sales of models such as the Nissan Altima in line with Japanese rivals "The important thing is the front end and the rear end," Nakamura said during an April 12 interview at the company's main design studio south of Tokyo.

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Subaru are debuting a new crossover/SUV concept at the Geneva Motor Show as well as the new Subaru Forester and Outback diesel CVT. Subaru are heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new crossover concept  - Subaru VIZIV Concept – but has failed to give us any real information. So we don’t know if the VIZIV (the name is supposed to mean ‘Vision for Innovation) is a replacement on the way for a current Subaru, or an all new car.

Concept Car of the Week: BMW Spicup (1969)

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

The oddly named Spicup, standing for Spider and Coupé, was first presented at the 1969 Geneva Motor Show. Carozzeria Bertone had previous collaborations with BMW such as the 3200CS coupe by Giugiaro. The friendship between Nuccio Bertone and Willhelm Hoffmeister, head of bodywork construction at BMW, must have also contributed to the brand agreeing to provide an early pre-production of the E3 generation 2500 saloon as a base for the concept.
