Borg Warner Turbocharger/turbo S76/s476custom Built For Tractor/truck Pulling on 2040-parts.com
Enon Valley, Pennsylvania, US
Built by Forced Inductions in Alabama. This is a BorgWarner ST76 or S476 as they are commonly known as. It has a 76mm inducer on the intake. Comes with a better flowing cast aluminum compressor cover and T4 .125 exhaust housing. The intake wheel has rubbed on the housing peeling back the edge of the wheel (could be run or replaced, I would probably replace it). The exhaust wheel and both housings are in like new shape. The turbo had approximately 10 runs on it. I would say it Will need bearings at the least and possibly a new center cartridge at the most. It simply would not take the pressures and demands that we had of it on a 640cui tractor. This will be a cheap charger for someone to rebuild and have fun with. The invoice with extra machine work and everything else was near $1800. You are getting a unit that will require a rebuild at a fraction of the cost!

The case of the disappearing Lambos
Thu, 15 Jan 2009Now this should have rung an alarm bell or two at the time, but it seems it didn’t. Back in November the world’s largest Lamborghini dealership – Lamborghini Orange County – turned up its toes and closed the doors, apparently a victim of the downturn in car sales. Not the oddest story in these times admittedly, but a bit odd when you consider that Lamborghini OC was reckoned to be responsible for 10% of Lamborghini’s sales worldwide, shifting around 240 cars a year.

Fri, 16 Feb 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 February 2007 09:47 Toyota Hybrid X: the lowdown Toyota's love affair with the hybrid continues: it'll show this Hybrid X at the Geneva Motor Show next month, hinting at a second Toyota hybrid to sell alongside the Prius. It's designed to showcase Toyota's new hybrid design language - a fresh look for its high-tech petrol-electric models, to differentiate them from its more conventional-fueled models. More excitement, less prosaic ordinariness, is the order of the day.
Scrappage helps UK car sales in October
Thu, 05 Nov 2009Scrappage Scheme sales accounted for 20% of sales in October Despite our reservations about the Scrappage Scheme, it does seem that it has inspired buyers in to showrooms in the last few months. And October has recorded a year on year increase of 31.6%, although total car sales are still down over 12% on 2008 figures. October saw a big rise in new cars sales to private buyers with sales rocketing by 86%, and there were rises in the fleet and business market.
