Genuine Bosch High Impedance Injectors

These injectors flow 65 lbs/hr at 43.5 PSI ( 3 BAR ) and more at higher PSI. In addition, these units are high-impedance. Despite the high flow rate, they are linear and controllable at low pulse widths and have been used in ULEV applications! This allows you to use a larger injector than normally possible without hurting idle and low speed driveability. Adding to the flexibility of application, these units are high-impedance; making them compatible with most ECUs, while delivering the most flow available in a High-Impedance injector. These injectors represent the most current Bosch engineering and are used on many high power oem applications.

These injectors are able to function at high fuel pressures and don’t exhibit the high fuel pressure handling problems found with many other high flow high-impedance injectors. Many tuners push these injectors to 6 bar and higher.

Engine performance and running quality are enhanced through the optimized spray pattern. Unlike competitors “pencil stream” high flow injectors; these High Flow injectors utilize a multi-orifice tip for improved mixture preparation and atomization. This results in lower BSFC and better idle quality than many injectors with less flow.

New 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible: Official

Wed, 02 Jan 2013

The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, the drop top version of the GT Speed, has been officially revealed ahead of a Detroit Auto Show debut. Just as expected, Bentley has transplanted all the goodies from the latest version of the GT Speed in to the GTC Speed, which means a fulsome 616bhp and 590lb/ft of torque from the delicious 6.0 litre W12 and, despite gaining more than 200kg to keep the huge Bentley stiff without its roof, the GT Speed Convertible manages to hustle to 62mph in 4.1 seconds – just a tenth slower than the tin-top Speed. That extra lard does have more impact as you head towards 100mph with the convertible taking 0.7 seconds more, but there’s not exactly a paucity of power on offer.

Nissan Qashqai: UK 2011 changes

Mon, 09 Aug 2010

The Nissan Qashqai n-tec 2011 with its posh new alloys We reported last week on the changes revealed for the 2011 Nissan Qashqai in Japan (the Nissan Dualis), and speculated that some of these, and perhaps others, would spill over to the Nissan Qashqai in the UK and Europe. So it was no huge surprise to get an email from Nissan this morning detailing changes to the Qashqai for 2011 in the UK. Stop/Start turns up as an option for the first time on the 1.6 litre petrol Qashqais (for £200) which, if you can get in to the habit of sticking the car in neutral and foot off the clutch every time you grind to a halt in traffic, can yield decent fuel savings.

Ssangyong e-XIV EV Concept at Paris 2012

Mon, 10 Sep 2012

Ssangyong are continuing their concept offensive with the e-XIV EV Concept, a range extender compact SUV. Mahindra seem intent on turning Ssangyong from the Lada of Korea in to another South Korean car maker to be taken seriously. We’ve recently seen a big push for the Korando SX, with Ssangyong pitching it hard against the competition as the cheapest way in to a compact SUV, and at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year we had a concept pointing to the next generation compact SUV from Ssangyong with the convertible Ssangyong XIV-2.
