Charging Redefined

The Bosch Power Max is the manufacturer-recommended Level 2 240V charging station for multiple electric vehicle manufacturers in North America. Power Max is available in multiple power output and charging cable length options to meet your charging needs. A minimalist, compact design and user-friendly operation easily integrate to your home.

Installation

Bosch recommends working with an experienced electrician to install your new charging station.  Looking for an electrician? Visit the Bosch installer map for a recommendation.

Ask your electrician to install a 40-amp breaker and hardwire conduit, needed to install a charging station. Once your electrician finishes you'll be ready for charging.

The Power Max Level 2 Charging Station is to be hardwired only. The installation of a plug is not allowed and will void the warranty.

Charge Anywhere

The Power Max is built to exceed NEMA 3R standards, making it weather-resistant and suitable for indoor or outdoor installation. It will safely charge in rain, snow, sleet and ice or in the comfort of your garage.

Control Your Charge

Use your vehicle infotainment system or your vehicle’s app to set delayed charging, view vehicle battery and charging status and manage your Power Max.

The cracking of the nut in the monitoring system could cause it to fall out of the sensor-transmitter that it secures, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in a report on its Web site.

Audi e-Tron Spyder – The CES Star

Fri, 07 Jan 2011

Audi e-Tron Spyder at the CES Audi keep on dragging versions of their e-Tron out at any given opportunity, usually focusing on a different take on some form or other of electric and/or hybrid propulsion. Our favourite so far has been the Audi A1 e-Tron, which may seem odd to those of you who know of our penchant for the fast and exotic. But hybrid cars are best suited to urban environments – even more so electric cars – and the Audi A1 e-Tron’s combination of electric motors and a range-extending Wankel engine really floated our urban boat.
