Bottom Line Traction’s SUPER TRAIL SERIES carbide wearbars feature our re-designed DOMINATOR 60 degree controlling carbide.  The new DOMINATOR 60 degree carbide is designed to give you a bigger more aggressive bite on the ice.  The DOMINATOR carbide cross section is taller then other 60 degree inserts on the market.  Once again, more carbide equals longer wear.  The SUPER TRAIL SERIES host bar is 7/16” high carbon steel with a flat top to prevent “bar roll” when cornering.  This feature keeps the carbide square to the ground for the best traction and safety.  In the wear category, the SUPER TRAIL SERIES goes one up on its sibling trail series bar.  The SUPER TRAIL SERIES features hardweld filler and carbide wearpads in front and behind the controlling carbide providing an even longer wear period.  For the ultimate in penetration and control, choose the SUPER TRAIL SERIES.

2012 British Grand Prix: Alonso takes pole for Ferrari at Silverstone

Sat, 07 Jul 2012

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso has taken pole position in a rain-soaked qualifying at Silverstone for the 2012 British Grand Prix. Just like the rest of the UK in this miserable summer, Silverstone was soaked by endless rain with qualifying held up for an hour and a half as conditions became too dangerous to continue. Before the break – halfway through Q2 – Jenson Button had already succumbed to the conditions after slowing under a yellow flag after Timi Glock spun on a wet track leaving Jenson no time to set a time.
