DESCRIPTION: This item is a Rebuilt Midland Hy-Power Brake Booster. The identification # stamped on the end of the operating valve is C462C 9-58. This number is listed in Bendix Power Brake Catalog 9-800, dated January 1967 on page 36....., There is also a metal tag on the band that has 5860 stamped on it, I cannot do anything with this number. The unit is used as a rebuilt replacement for the following Ford Trucks that came with a Midland Hy-Power booster as original equipment. 1953 through 1956 C500, C550, C600 1953 through 1962, F5, F6, B500, B600, F500, P500, F600. 1961 & 1962 C550, C600 1963 F500, B500, N500 This came from a power brake rebuild and service shop that closed several years ago. It appears to have been a Factory Rebuilt from Midland, there is no box. It has been in dry storage for several years, I would think it is still in operating condition. However, this is being sold "As Is", I have no way of testing it. This is an outright sale and no core is needed to be returned. PAYMENT: Pay Pal is the standard eBay method of payment. Electric BMW 1 Series Concept ActiveE Revealed
Thu, 17 Dec 2009The BMW 1 Series ActiveE Concept BMW are ramping up their foray in to electric cars with the reveal of the BMW 1 Series Concept ActiveE which will show at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and takes the company a step further along the electric car line than the MINI E. The starting point for public trials of BMW’s i-Project (for ‘Public Trials’ read ‘We’ll get the punters to suss the problems’) was the front wheel drive MINI E which is out playing on the roads in a limited lease programme in the UK, Germany and the US. The programme has not been without problems including charging issues and poor range, but BMW are quite upfront about this being about seeing how the electric cars work in the real world.
Show Review: 100% Design Tokyo

Though thankfully easier to get to than that, what you get is a bit different to expectations. Japanese are noted for the effort they give presentation: it's in their dress, their language, in how they wrap gifts in stores and serve food in restaurants.
