Up for auction is a rebuilt gen 5 w/f motor built by Greg Henderson IKF Grand/Nationals engine builder for the 2012 and 2013 championship drivers.Dyno time on this motor only--just broken in fresh. This was a backup motor I built for Scott Barlee the 2012- 2013 IKF Grand Nationals Champion. It makes 14.2 hp stock W/F make between 12.7 to 13.5 hp on our dyno. This motor was built to last not to make peak power. This motor is .020 over and has been sqaure decked line honed on CNC Rottler boring center and optimized for peak compression ratio. Anything that could be reduced as far as reciprocating drag was done. This motor will pass IKF tech barns. Motor not the prettiest exterior wise but has new rod, crank, rings and piston along with new valves and springs.Just a great motor for club racing if you want a great power long lasting engine that is better than stock. Comes with clutch starter and pull start. Note must use Red Line kart oil in this engine or equivalent such as Red E Motor will be shipped from Canada so expect shipping to the US and Cdn destinations to be about $75-100

2011 Saab 9-3 Price and Spec

Mon, 14 Mar 2011

2011 Saab 9-3 Once day, we’ll get round this problem of what year t0 allocate to a car. With the facelifted Saab 9-3 going on sale in the UK next month, Saab are referring to it as the 2012 MY Saab 9-3 in this morning’s press release, but it seems unlikely anyone in the UK will do so. In the US, cars going on sale from May are referred to as the following year car, so assuming the new 9-3 goes on sale across the Pond in May it will be the 2012 Saab 9-3.

The Brilliance A3 - China's BMW X1 Lookalike The easy headline would be ‘Brilliance A3 – BMW X1 Clone’. But that would be a little unfair to Brilliance. Western car makers – as we’ve mentioned many times before – are compelled by Chinese law to partner with a local car maker if they are to trade in China.

Spyker, Youngman plan to build Saab-based cars

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

Dutch supercar maker Spyker says it will form two joint ventures with China's Zhejiang Youngman to produce Saab-based vehicles and a luxury SUV under the terms of a deal that will give Youngman a 29.9-percent share in Spyker. Youngman was one of the Chinese companies Spyker turned to for investment when it was trying to revive the Saab brand under its ownership. After failing to get approval for the sale from General Motors, a former Saab owner, the deal with Youngman collapsed and Saab was declared bankrupt in December 2011.
