MyFord Touch revealed at Consumer Electronics show

Ford is using the concept behind its Sync technology to dramatically re-do the appearance of its instrument panels and the manner in which drivers interact with their cars. Ford is revealing MyFord Touch at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the technology launches on the 2011 Ford Edge followed by global availability on the 2012 Focus. MyLincoln Touch will be standard on new Lincolns, starting with 2011 MKX.

Lincoln introduces Black Label trim at Pebble Beach

Lincoln introduced its hoity-toity Black Label Collection at Pebble Beach on Thursday. In the words of Jim Farley, “The new Lincoln Motor Company is built on three foundational elements -- design, quality and personal service; Black Label represents our highest expression of these elements.” Lincoln says its Black Label dealers will collaborate to create a personal, integrated client shopping and ownership experience, with respect for the luxury of time. We're not sure exactly what that means, but if the dealers can pick up the cars for gas, a wash and some fast food, that would be great.

2012 MINI Coupe arrives – in camouflage

MINI Coupe Reveal -ish We were going to say that the 2012 MINi Coupe had been revealed. But as MINI has decided, for reasons we fail to fathom, they should reveal it with camouflage we thought it would be a bit of an oxymoron. Still, MINI has revealed more about the MINI Coupe ahead of an official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
