'BUG4' BIPLANE ULTRALIGHT GLIDER
PLANS ON CD
COLOR DRAWINGS - INCREDIBLY CLEAR
Easy to launch. Easy to fly. But....
It's sure not little!
This unique ultralight craft can be constructed with tools you most likely already have in your workshop or garage.

This CD includes 66 separate drawing files (in GIF file format) that are of exceptional size, resolution and clarity.

Additionally, a set of all the drawings in CAD-file DXF file format is also on the CD. You will need a CAD file viewer utility to utilize the DXF files, but these viewers are all over the internet for free downloading and free use (freeware).

These pages will print on standard size paper or all the way up to 42"-wide professional plotting size. Just print them at the size most practical for your use.

With plans on CD you do not have to worry about tearing a page, or dirt (or a coffee ring!) obscuring that critical measurement! A page "goes missing" - just print another one!

The filesets are in 'ZIP file' format to save space on the CD and you will need a ZIP file handler (such as WinZIP) to un-pack the ZIP archives. If you do not already have one of these, they are readily available on the internet for free downloading and free use (free-ware). Note - WinZIP is no longer free, so you might do well to find one of excellent freeware "work-alikes" that are available.

BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics (2008)

Fri, 22 Feb 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 22 February 2008 00:01 BMW has already scooped CAR’s green award for its Efficient Dynamics eco package being rolled out onto its current range. But at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, the Bavarians will unveil their vision for the next generation. Dubbed Vision Efficient Dynamics, it’s an X5 equipped with the latest gizmos to reduce the amount of fuel you put into the tank and the gases pumped out of the exhaust.

Car makers to be forced to disclaim ‘Official’ economy figures

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

We’ve banged on for a long time about the futility of official economy figures, especially as car makers get better and better at ‘gaming’ the official economy tests to produce the results they want. Much of the impetus to create the best headline economy figure for a car is driven by taxation, with car makers well aware that the better the official economy results are, the lower their CO2 will be (CO2 isn’t tested for – it’s just extrapolated from the official mpg) and the more appealing the car will be to buyers, particularly fleet buyers. But a ruling by the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) against Audi could at least see car makers having to admit in their adverts that the ‘official’ economy figure bears no relation to what owners can expect to achieve in the real world.

Winner, Winner Car-Guy Dinner! Celebrity chef Fieri gets wild Garage Mahal to keep toys, friends rockin'

Wed, 28 Oct 2009

In the vernacular of rock-and-roll TV chef Guy Fieri, his new car crib is way off the hook. Built for Fieri as a DIY Network television showpiece, the two-car-plus garage space is like the owner himself--flashy, flamboyant and full-on car-guy comfortable. Back in the spring, AutoWeek spent time with Fieri and watched as he doted on and drooled over his cars.
