This is a New Super Master Rebuild Kit for the 1982-1986, FORD C-5 Transmissions This kit will include the following items: 26006E ... Master With/Steels Kit, C-5 1982-1986, Raybestos Frictions/Steels, includes the Toledo Trans-kit with all gaskets, seals and o-rings. A26010E ... Filter, C-5 (2 WD) 1982-1986 26022 ... Band, C-4/C-5 Intermediate (Flex) 1965-86 26034 ... Bushing, C-4/C-5 Pump (Babbitt) 26066 ... Bushing, C-4/C-5 Extension Housing 26160G ... Modulator, C-4/C-5 Single Green Stripe (Push In) 1974-86 This kit contains everything normally needed in a do-it-yourself overhaul of the automatic transmission. If you are new to rebuilding the automatic transmission, everything must be keep very clean. Remember to soak the friction materials for 30 minutes before installing in transmission fluid. Once you do your inspection there is always a chance that you will need other hard parts for your rebuild, or electronic parts that might need replacing. Although it packs the usual concept car madness of suicide doors, a pared-back cabin and LEDs everywhere, it actually previews the look – and drivetrain – of the next Renault Twingo. The big news is that it'll be rear-engined, rear-drive, and offer an electric option for less money than the £13k Renault Zoe EV.

Performance figures for the front-wheel drive hot hatch look good: 62mph is dispatched in 6.1 seconds, the top speed is 155mph, and yet the Cupra R returns 34.9mpg. Thank the high-tech 2.0 turbo engine from the Volkswagen group, which in this incarnation makes 261hp. Helping get all that power through the front wheels is XDS, the same system you'll find on the Golf GTI that effectively mimics a limited slip differential through the use of electronic wizardry.
VW Beetle GSR: Price from £24,900
Fri, 10 May 2013The Beetle GSR is a homage to the Yellow-Black Racer Beetle from the 1970s (GSR stands for Gelb Schwarzer Renner – which means Yellow-Black Racer) which featured a similar paint job, boosted power (a whole 49bhp) and was also limited to 3,500 units. But the 2013 version of the Beetle GSR does at least offer much more get up and go than the 1970s GSR managed. That means the GSR comes with VW’s 2.0 litre turbo with 207bhp which is enough to get the yellow Bug to 62mph in 7.3 seconds on its way top 142mph, and is the same power output all Beetles with the 2.0 litre TSI will get from May 1st (up from 197bhp).
