Daihatsu Terios – cheap as chips motoring
Fri, 02 Jan 2009As my Dad was fond of saying, you don’t get ought for nowt, but it’s starting to be a close run thing with the Daihatsu Terios. The Daihatus Terios is an odd little car/suv, but it does have real appeal. Sure, it looks like it’s been on a boil-wash and come at at 2/3rds the size it should be.
2013 Toyota Auris revealed ahead of Paris Motor Show debut
Mon, 20 Aug 2012The new Toyota Auris – based on the old Auris but with a new look – has been revealed ahead of a Paris Motor Show debut. Even though there were rumours that the replacement for the Toyota Auris would arrive with the 2013 Toyota Corolla badge, Toyota has decided to stick with the Auris badge for the 2013 car, revealed today ahead of Paris 2012 (although we did have a leak of the 2013 Auris a few months ago). With competition from the VW Golf and Ford Focus – and a new-found desire to deliver cars that are more interesting to look at and drive – Toyota needs to be on the mark with the new Auris, and certainly in terms of how it looks the new Auris is a lot more interesting than the bland current model.
2012 Honda Civic: First detail, photo and video

In fact, the 2012 Honda Civic will be the ninth generation of the Civic over nearly 40 years. The original Civic arrived in 1972 with all its Japanese build quality and reliability intact from the start, and it was something of a revelation for a motoring public that were still buying new Austin 1300s and the later model Humber Sceptres.
