Two very similar concepts, yet the endurance races at the Ring and Le Mans differ hugely, and both excite for very different reasons. I just hope they stay that way. Believe it or not, Jenson Button hasn’t had a pole position for McLaren. Or at least he hadn’t until today when he crushed the competition to take pole in tomorrow’s Spa Grand Prix.

Mon, 12 Sep 2011The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale Lamborghini teased us back in August with the statement that Frankfurt 2011 would see a ‘Super Sports Car’ arrive from Sant’Agata. We thought it may be a road-going version of the Gallardo Super Trofeo and so it is, with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale leaking out on the eve of the Frankfurt show. The Super Trofeo Stradale is Lamborghini’s fulfilment of a promise to deliver a new car to every major motor show, but there’s nothing really new about the Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale – it’s really just another lightweight, ‘Limited Edition’ Gallardo.
