Range Rover Evoque production starts

The First Production Range Rover Evoque rolls out at Halewood You could be forgiven for thinking that the Range Rover Evoque was already in production. But you’d be wrong. The apparent plethora of Evoques which have turned up at every car event of 2011 – and a fair few non-car events too – are all pre-production models, built by Land Rover to promote their forthcoming baby Range Rover.

While some prefer the sledgehammer power of the new 911 Turbo and others choose the widowmaker, aka the loony, rear-drive turbocharged GT2, for many the 911 GT3 RS is the purest of the rear-engined Porsches. The new photos of the GT3 RS reveal a 911 that’s been fettled and feted, prepared for use cross-country or at Cadwell Park race track.
