Tue, 22 Nov 2011Audi A1 Sportback Five-Door - full price list Last week Audi revealed the new addition to the A1 family – the five-door A1 Sportback – with an extra set of doors and just the tiniest bit of extra room. But now Audi has had chance to get its calculators busy they’ve worked out what the new A1 five-door is going to cost right across the range, and made it a bit clearer what the five-door offers over and above the three door A1.
Reventon v Tornado
Wed, 28 Nov 2007By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 28 November 2007 17:08 Lamborghini’s mean-looking €1 million Reventón may look like a stealth fighter without the wings, but a couple of Raging Bull test drivers decided to take on the real thing over the weekend. They raced a Tornado fighter bomber, one of the world's most sophisticated and capable interdiction and attack aircraft. Lined up on the 1.8 mile-long runway at Ghedi military base near Brescia in Italy, the 650bhp mid-engined supercar looked a little short of muscle compared to the two-seater Tornado.
Rushed urban speed limit reductions criticised
Fri, 16 May 2014ANY RUSH towards blanket 20mph zones on urban roads needs to be slowed down, according to a survey of nearly 25,000 motorists. Almost 70% of drivers think people should be consulted before 20mph limits are imposed on their street, the AA/Populus survey showed. More than half (55%) of the 24,351 AA members in the survey said drivers' views should be sought if 20mph zones are introduced in local areas through which they travel.
