JVC did not forget about the Android smartphone and designed the unit to allow play through the JVC Music Control App. (select operating systems only) via USB. You can list and search stored music by artist or album or you can allow the app to analyze your song preference and form a playlist to suit you. Looking ahead on expansion, the KD-X31MBS contains rear 2.5-volt preamp outputs that you can switch to subwoofer mode.
