Doug & Shirley Parker founded Parker-Knudtsen Toyota which was located in Coeur d'Alene, in November of 1983. In October 1991 Doug & Shirley completed their new Toyota facility. In October 2009 we opened our newly designed facility which includes our larger state-of-the art Service Center. Parker Toyota began with a staff of 30 employees and now has over 130 on the payroll. The dealership has one of the best-trained staffs in the nation, and award-winning salespeople provide the proof. The dealership is proud of its extensive in-house training program, where the focus is on knowing the product inside and out, not the hard-sell. One of Toyota's primary goals is to emphasize the entire ownership experience.
