Rebuildable engine core from a 2005 Boxster S 3.2. It was a new crate engine from Porsche in 2007 after an IMS failure at 25,000 miles. I decided to replace rather than repair the engine which failed at idle. The car had 85,000 miles, so 60,000 miles on this engine. Upon inspection a broken valve spring caused the valve to go sideways. In contrast to an IMS failure, there should be no debris in the engine and it should be a great candidate for a rebuild. Please examine the photos closely. There is no reserve and the engine will not be returnable. Ships to continental U.S. Only. Local pickup can be arranged at no fee. |
