1969 Grand Prix Midnight Green Rear Interior Set Smooth Ashtray

This is a set of rear interior panels that will fit 69-72 Pontiac Grand Prix. They are in great shape. The vinyl is in excellent condition and have been maintained and stored using Meguiar products. They are not altered or color dyed. True originals as are the same for my other interior sets and parts. The only issue can be seen in the picture of the rear passenger side panel at the lower corner I have highlighted which technically isn't really an issue at all because that part of the panel is along side of the rear back seat and isn't visible anyhow and generally covered with the armrest.

This set has the smooth ashtrays which by standards isn't correct for 1969 because they normally had ribbed lids and theoretically gradually introduced in late 1969 but in late 1970 ribbed lids were totally replaced with the smooth covered ashtray lids. However these panels were taken from a 1969 just as you see them with smooth ashtray lids.

The color is Midnight Green or Dark Green as some would call it was not used in 1971 only. These would be excellent panels for your car and correct for 69 Grand Prix. Do note that 1969 had a trim screw in the center at the top of the side panel which can be seen in the photo which is correct early to mid 69 GP whereas late 69 there wasn't any trim screw and in 1970 to 1972 that trim screw was eliminated and replaced with velcro on the back of the panel. These panels would also be very great candidates for those looking for something real good to color dye.
