This is off my personal 2008 Volkswagen R32 that I am selling so I put it back to stock.  It worked perfectly for me.  It was used for about 2000 miles and is in very good condition.  There is a knick and a scratch that I have pictured.  They do not effect performance at all.  It works as new and you get all the same parts as when you buy this kit new.

This is a genuine Forge Motorsports intake kit (part #FMIND5R32) that I bought new.  The canister is made of black carbon fiber composite and the end caps are aluminum.  It comes with all silicone piping and all the stainless steel clamps you need.

If you are not familiar with this popular intake it has a PiperCross foam filter element inside a carbon composite canister.  The silicone hoses connect to a front "ram air" style metal air scoop that gets cold air from the front of the car.

I have added a layer of DEI reflect-A-gold heat reflective tape to the underside of the air filter canister.  This was to help keep the canister cooler and help the filter breath colder air which makes more horsepower.  As I mentioned it was on my own car.  If you do not like the tape you could take it off.

There is a small square of tape covering a small spot on the canister that was rubbing the insulation under my hood.  It scratched the carbon lightly so I put the tape there to prevent it touching the carbon after I noticed they lightly touched sometimes.
