Custom 7.5 degree V-drive prop strut. I built this for my Hallett flat bottom but am now buying a new house so project needs to go. This is a two piece design, unlike most steel struts that are three piece, there is no weld at the web and plate joint. It was built from structural I-beam. The web is 3/4" thick and the plate started out at 1.125" and was milled to .500". The barrel is machined for 1.375" bushings to accept 1" and 1.125" prop struts.
