Carrier mounts on your truck/Motorhome frame. Carrier capacity is 1,000 lbs. Used this on my truck when I went to various locations. Once parked, used 2,500 lb electric winch to lower carrier to about 2 inches from the street level, then took off straps and rolled bike off carrier. After my ride, rode bike up on carrier and strapped it to frame, raised carrier to transport. There is a shock absorber that fastens between carrier and frame.
