I purchased this item to use in flight training. However, after the purchase, my IP told me that a Yoke mount would be better and was already installed on the plane I'd be training with (Cessna 172). So this was never used or even clipped to my leg. I'm sure it'll serve you well in your flying; it just wasn't what I needed. Lovejoy
