This is a used Carter AVS 4bbl carb. Stamped on the front is J7 4401S. It's aluminum tag reads 4401S 268 01. According to my sources, it's application is 1968 cbody Dodge Polara Monaco Plymouth Sport Fury I II II Chrysler Newport New Yorker, bbody Coronet 440 500 Super Bee Belvedere Satellite Road Runner and Dart GTS Barracuda models with a 383 V8 engine with automatic transmission. Please check your own parts listings to be sure of your specific application. The linkage operates freely. Part of the top center near the air cleaner attach stud attach area has been ground off for an unknown reason. Parts I see obviously missing are the air cleaner attach stud, choke diaphragm & link and linkage end stud. There may be other parts missing that I am not noticing. I did not open it up so I don't know it's condition or if it is complete inside. It is being sold as a core to refurbish. Buyer to pay packaging/shipping. Shipping price includes insurance (US only).
