If you are tired of the soft, mushy stock or factory Hurst shifter and tired of missing that 2nd to 3rd gear shift then this is what you need. You will never miss that 2nd to 3rd gear shift again. Don't waste money on the other so called "short sticks" out there. The TNA Short Stick is made of high strength, light weight steel and is 6.5" inches long. That is 1.5" shorter then the factory shifter stick as shown in the picture below. By shortening the stick, the shifter throws are shortened by approximately 17%. Be careful of the other short shifters that are less then 6.5", any shorter could potentially cause you to miss shift more frequently and damage the transmission due to not enough throw. The end of the shaft is threaded to fit your stock knob, Hurst knob or any other knob with a M16 x 1.50 thread. The bottom of our short stick is milled on both sides so it fits flush with the shift mechanism. Unlike other "short stick" manufacturers, we include the necessary spacer that allows the short shifter stick to stay centered in the factory location of the console in your vehicle. The others' "short stick" leaves your shifter stick about 2" over to the right of the console, making it further to reach, way off center and hitting the console during shifts. The TNA Short Stick will bolt up to many short throw shifters such as the factory Hurst, SLP, Kirban, Pro 5.0 and many others greatly improving their performance. It will also bolt up to the stock T56 or Hurst T5 shifter. Installation is very simple in about 10 minutes. You only need a 6mm allen wrench. All you have to remove is the shift knob and shift boot. Then take your stock stick out and bolt this one in its place. Put the boot and knob back on and you are finished. You will notice the difference immediately. This will be the best low cost mod you have ever made to your car! The stock shifter in picture is not included in the auction, it is just for comparison.
