Offered is the grab handle found on the passenger's side of a VW Vanagon, Brown in color. This is the part that mounts on the windshield pillar and allows one to grab and pull to more easily enter the vehicle. It is good for replacement of a missing or damaged part, and more importantly, can be added to the driver's side as well. Putting one on the driver's side helps prevent pulling on the steering wheel or door, especially important on syncro vans with larger than stock tires and a high step-up. Pulling on the door during entry can result in wind whistle from door misalignment. This parts set includes the handle, screws, bases, and covers. Overall the parts are in good condition, with some minor deterioration of the screw hole covers, which is typical of Brown Vanagon plastic parts. The rubberized handle does not deteriorate the same way. It is not necessary to use the screw covers fort the handle to function safely. All the covers do is hide the screw heads, which are recessed. Please note that I may send you the brown handle with black screw covers instead of brown screw covers as the black covers are almost always in good condition and when they are installed it is unlikely the color difference will be noticable.  I have several of these handles and the one I send you may not be the one pictured, but will be of similar condition and quality.
