This mounting hardware kit is required to use any of our shock mount brackets (1/2" mounting hole) on 1982-2003 Sportster models. This kit uses your original nut and washer. It simply replaces your lower shock bolt to space the bracket away from your shock so it will not hit.

NOTE: This has not been tested on aftermarket shocks. There are so many different shocks out there that there is no possible way we can test fit every bracket on every model of every bike ever made. Please use your head before ordering.

This kit includes longer bolt and spacer.
