The B2317RP is recommended for 4-cyl, 6-cyl and some 8+ cyl engines where the vehicle is for track use with weight reduction as the primary goal. This battery functions best in race cars with alternators and limited electrical use. Right-side and left-side options can be used to create a multi-battery setup with or without an alternator.
