Audi A1 – Finally
Wed, 10 Feb 2010Audi finally release details of their new 'Mini' - The Audi A1 We said only yesterday that we weren’t going to run another story on the new Audi A1 until we got some proper meat. Audi has dragged out the reveal of the A1 – from original concept 2 years ago to the endless recent teases – so much we just felt there was nothing more worth saying. But now there is after Audi decided enough was enough and has given us some proper information and photos of the A1.
BMW X1 US launch delayed – because the new X3 is so good
Wed, 04 May 2011BMW X1 - not in the US until late 2012 It would have beenĀ inconceivableĀ just a few years ago that there could ever be a market in the US for a car like the BMW X1. But times have changed and even Americans see the benefits of a (much) smaller SUV, so BMW was originally planning on launching the X1 in the US around now. That X1 launch got put back until later in 2011 because the Leipzig plant – which builds the X1 – was running at capacity to meet the demands from Europe.
Kia Ray Concept at Chicago Motor Show
Thu, 21 Jan 2010Kia wil preview the Kia Ray Concept plug-in hybrid at the Chicago Motor Show next month Yes, the Detroit Motor Show is only just about done, but waiting in the wings is the rather less fancy Chicago Motor Show (although they probably won’t thank us for describing it as such). But despite Chicago being a lower key affair than Detroit they will still get their share of new stuff. Well, not necessarily new (we reported that North America gets the BMW Alpina B7 which will debut at Chicago) but certainly new to the US.
