Peugeot 207 S16 announced
Tue, 02 Feb 2010Peugeot has revealed the slightly shouty Peugeot 207 S16 The last few days new from Peugeot has been all about the Toyota recall mess and having to drag in a pile of 106s for the sticky throttle fix. So it’s nice to report a new car from Peugeot instead (particularly if you’re in to boy-racer Peugeots) with a limited edition Peugeot 207 on offer. Peugeot has announced the Peugeot 207 S16 to celebrate its domination of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge for the last three years, and of Kris Meeke in winning the 2009 IRC drivers’ title.
New Vauxhall Astra – the Race
Wed, 17 Jun 2009The new Vauxhall Astra will be launched in September at Frankfurt This sixth generation of the Astra is a good looking car, and has taken a lot of its design cues from the very good Vauxhall Insignia. And it has in its sites the Ford Focus, the VW Golf and the new Mazda 3. So what better way to show its prowess than to produce a ‘viral’ video – without giving away too much detail – showing the new Astra mullering the Focus and the Golf on the track at Millbrook?
Great British cars immortalised on Royal Mail stamps
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Throughout the 20th century a series of great British cars have put their stamp on the world, now the Royal Mail has put some of these iconic motors on stamps. The Auto Legends stamp collection celebrates the six thoroughbred British cars that led the world with their artistry and engineering. Alongside them are four workhorses that may have been less celebrated but have still done more than their fair share to further the British car industry’s cause over the years.
