This is a wheel and tire that I bought for use as a spare in the expectations that I would get another and use it at the track for drag racing. Well I never drag race anymore so this is just taking up room in my garage. The wheel show signs of having lug nuts installed, so I must have done this at some time but I bought these new and I know that they have never seen the road. The tire is definitely old, but has been in a dark place in the garage since I bought it and looks like it is brand new - however use at our own risk, they're probably cheap. The wheel has some light surface scratches, but I'm sure they can be polished to look even more like a mirror than they already do. I did a quick check of the part number, and Summit sells this wheel for $210.

New smart fortwo electric drive enters production
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Mercedes has announced that the third generation 2012 smart fortwo electric drive has gone in to production. Mercedes may, very sensibly, be pursuing hydrogen fuel cells as the real future of motoring but they still have an eye on electric cars as urban runarounds. That urban EV takes shape as the Smart EV, and the third generation smart fortwo ED (electric drive) debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March and has now gone in to production.
